Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking through cacherapids.ca. By booking, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Bookings and Reservations

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from us via email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any reservation at our discretion.

When making a booking, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for ensuring all guest information is correct at the time of booking.

3. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a booking, you authorize us to charge the total amount due to your provided payment method. All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

Full payment or a deposit (as specified during checkout) is required to confirm your reservation. If a deposit is taken, the remaining balance will be charged according to the schedule shown at the time of booking.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Cancellations made 30+ days before check-in: Full refund, minus any processing fees.
• Cancellations made 14–29 days before check-in: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
• Cancellations made less than 14 days before check-in: No refund.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

5. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in and check-out times will be communicated in your booking confirmation. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request but cannot be guaranteed. Failure to check out by the designated time may result in additional charges.

6. Guest Conduct and Property Rules

All guests are expected to treat the property and surrounding area with respect. The following rules apply to all bookings:

• No smoking inside the property
• No parties or events without prior written approval
• Maximum guest occupancy must not be exceeded
• Quiet hours must be observed as specified in your confirmation
• Pets are permitted only if explicitly approved in writing prior to booking

We reserve the right to terminate a booking without refund if guests violate property rules or cause damage.

7. Damage and Liability

Guests are responsible for any damage to the property or its contents caused during their stay. We reserve the right to charge the payment method on file for the cost of repairs or replacements. You agree to report any pre-existing damage to us immediately upon check-in.

Cache Rapids Vacation Rentals is not liable for personal injury, loss of personal property, or any other damages arising from your stay, except where required by applicable Canadian law.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, power outages, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, we will work in good faith to offer a reschedule or appropriate credit where possible.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on cacherapids.ca, including text, images, and design, is the property of Cache Rapids Vacation Rentals and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our express written permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Newfoundland and Labrador.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the website or completion of a booking after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
